Having recently been visited by the Hotel inspectorate we have been up graded to a 4 star rating and with a comment that we have a very high 4 star standard facility Also we have been awarded a Platinum Standard award by the regional inspectorate for food and ambiance. The restaurant is now as busy as ever with a steady stream of new customers and of course the regular following of discerning diners. The Red Lion overlooks the village green in Adderbury. It is and old coaching inn with old oak decoration and stone chimneys. The bar has a list of the inn's Landlords dating back to before the civil war when it was a Royalist owned hostelry. The Restaurant serves delicious food fine wines and Green King real ales.
