Northamptonshire Facts

Northampton's Market Square is one of the largest in England and dates from 1235 when the selling of goods in the All Saints churchyard was stopped by King Henry III. Livestock was sold in Northampton Market Square until 1873 when a purpose-built cattle market opened.

Directions:

From the M1 junction 16 follow the A4500 to the city centre. After going over the railway bridge take the second left the A508 direction Market Harborough and the hotel is on your right opposite the Cathedral. The carpark is to the rear take the little gravel road to the right of the frontdoor at the end of the terrace of townhouses around to the back of the hotel and into the courtyard.
