The Northampton Balloon Festival is an annual event held in the English town of Northampton, in the Racecourse park. The Northampton Balloon Festival is organised by the Borough Council over a Friday, Saturday and Sunday in mid-August. The main features of the Northampton Balloon Festival are the twice-daily hot air balloon lifts.

Broomhill is conveniently situated just 8 miles from the M1 motorway 6 miles from the A14 10 miles from the nearest main line railway station and only a 40 minute drive from Birmingham International airport.From the M1 South Leave at junction 15a and follow the signs to Northampton. Once on the dual carriageway continue straight over all roundabouts and traffic lights for approximately 3 miles. At the Cock Hotel junction turn left. Filter left at traffic lights onto the A5199. Spratton is approximately 6 miles from here. At the first crossroads turn left towards Holdenby. The Hotel is half a mile on the right.From the M1 M6 North Leave the M1 at Junction 19 or M6 at the last junction before it joins the M1 signed A14 East. Leave the A14 at Junction 1 and travel towards Northampton continuing on the A5199 to Spratton approx. 6 miles . Take the second right towards Holdenby. The Hotel is half a mile on the right.From the A14 East Take Junction 2 towards Northampton onto the A508 to Brixworth. Go right to Spratton. Turn left on the A5199. Take the first right. The Hotel is half a mile on the right.
